So I told a friend of mine I’d promote his custom work here as long as he “liked” the official Facebook page for this site. So without further ado, here’s a quick vid I made, showcasing some of his work:
I also discuss a new “Wolfman Jack” video that’s in the works since he’s proving to be a pretty popular “breakout character” for the site and I, once again, plug the Facebook page for this site.
You can check out Decade’s custom work at his Facebook page:
You can also check out the Facebook page for this site as well:
And as always, you can e-mail your suggestions, review suggestions, critiques and praise to our new e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org
Thanks for your support, be sure to check out and “like” our Facebook page and tell your friends about it and all that exciting jazz (but not G1 Jazz of course).
So here it is, my review of G1 Metroplex, one of the most requested figures to be reviewed. I apologize it took so long to get this review done, hopefully y’all will enjoy it. It’s a fairly long review as I didn’t feel like splitting his alt modes into separate videos so with that being said, sit back, relax grab a snack and enjoy the review!
I know I’ve been gone the last week or so and have been out of the “reviewing loop” for a while so I thought I would give you a quick update on what I’m working on:
Transformers & other Plastic Crack:
I’m going to be doing the long-awaited Metroplex Review I’ve been talking about the past couple of weeks, as well as a review of two new-ish Thor figures.
X-Men & other Paper Crack:
I’m working on two videos right now. The first one is going to focus on the highlights of my Uncanny X-men comic collection, the second will be a V-Log where I express my thoughts on the revelation that Alan Scott (the original Green Lantern) is gay. I’ve always felt that gay characters in comics have been misrepresented or been portrayed in an exploitative kind of way and I have a cynical sort of feeling that’s where DC is going with this storyline. I’m not gay myself (not that there’s anything wrong with that, as Seinfeld would say) but I have friends and family members who are gay so this is an issue I have a lot to say about.
Sean at the Movies:
This Friday I’m going to be giving you a review of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter as well as Seeking a Friend for the End of the World. After a week of crappy movie releases it looks like we’re finally (knockin’ on wood) getting a couple of decent movies coming out. I’m also working on a review of Kull: The Conqueror (done in the Nostalgia Critic/Spoony style) as well as a review of the latest Underworld movie to hit blu-ray.
So yeah, busy next couple of weeks for the Sean-Man, be sure to keep watching the videos and letting me know what you think, thanks as always for your viewership!
* And yes, I realize Alan Scott is by no means a new Green Lantern character. I meant to say the “new Green Lantern storyline” but I f**ked up.
So I have another video review in the works of one of the most popular and requested G1 figures to have ever been released. They weren’t in the original series that often but the toy remains one of the holy grail pieces as far as Transformers figures are concerned. So who is the character I’m talking about? Watch the teaser below!
So here’s another “short and sweet review,” this time it’s of G1 Tailgate, one of my favorite Transformers figures from my childhood.
With 150% less shaky cam than my Classics Prowl review!!!!
I’ve been getting a lot of requests to review this guy so without further ado, here’s the video review:
To say this guy isn’t one of my favorite figures from the Classics Line would be the understatement of the century. Thing is though, I don’t judge him for what he is so much as I judge him for what he isn’t.
Also, I apologize for the super-shaky cam thing going on with this review. Usually I’m holding my phone in one hand and posing the figure in the other, hence the shaky cam, but most of my reviews are still fairly steady. Don’t know why I had the seizure-ish thing going on with this one, won’t happen in the next review, Scout’s honor (even though I was never a scout).
So here’s another “short and sweet review” of Movie Jazz in G1 colors from the ’07 movie line.
So here’s my video review of E-Hobby Galvatron:
And don’t worry G1 fans, reviews of Metroplex and a few other figures ARE on the horizon!
Since I posted a glowing review of Masterpiece Rodimus/Hotrod last night, I thought I would post a contrasting review of Alternators Rodimus/Hotrod, a toy I’m not too overly thrilled with. Check it out, let me know what you think.
So here we take a look at the US version of Masterpiece Rodimus/Hotrod in all his Judd Nelson-ish glory. Does this figure have “The Touch” or does he suck worse than Revenge of the Fallen? Check out the review for yourself!!!
